A component of the Southern Movement, which participated in the National Dialogue Conference and signed the Peace and Partnership Agreement, has stated that the United States' aggression against the Yemeni people is clear proof of the "enemies of the nation's" anger and fury at Yemen's "honorable and courageous historical positions" in support of the Palestinian people and their "valiant resistance" in the Gaza Strip.
In a statement, the Southern Movement component lauded the "qualitative deterrent operations" carried out by the Yemeni Armed Forces, both domestically and targeting the interests of the nation's enemies – "the Zionists and Americans" and their followers – in solidarity with the Palestinian people.
The statement cautioned the "nation's enemies," led by the "American enemy" and their allies and mercenaries who have normalized relations with them, against underestimating the shift of the Islamic nation "from a phase of 'strategic patience' toward its enemies to a phase of 'direct response and deterrence.'"
The statement also called on "agents who have infiltrated, confused, and alarmed the people of the nation to come to their senses."
Furthermore, it urged the Yemeni people to continue their weekly demonstrations and "honorable million-person gatherings" on Friday, specifically mentioning the march "We are steadfast with Gaza... in the face of the American-Israeli escalation" in Al-Sabeen Square in the capital, Sana'a, and in all squares across the other provinces.
