Hamas Condemns US Aggression on Yemen, Deems It "Complete War Crime"

Gaza - Saba:
The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, condemned the criminal US airstrike that targeted the Ras Issa oil port in the Hodeida province of the sisterly Republic of Yemen, which resulted in the death and injury of dozens of civilians, including paramedics and port workers.

Hamas said in a press statement on Friday that this brutal aggression is a blatant violation of Yemeni sovereignty and constitutes a full-fledged war crime. It confirms the continuation of aggressive US policies targeting free peoples who reject Zionist and American hegemony in the region.

It indicated that the US aggression against the Yemeni people is an extension of the war of extermination being waged against our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and of the joint US-Zionist aggression against the peoples of our nation.

Hamas also condemned the World Food Program's suspension of food shipments to areas targeted by airstrikes in Yemen, which increases the suffering of the Yemeni people under the aggression and blockade.

It condemned the international silence regarding the aggression against the Yemeni people, who are paying the price for their adherence to their principles and support for the Palestinian cause.

It expressed its full solidarity with the brotherly Yemeni people, highly appreciating their courageous and supportive stances for the Palestinian cause, as well as the positions of the sincere Ansar Allah movement in supporting our Palestinian people and their resistance in the Gaza Strip, and their affirmation of their continued support for our people until the Zionist aggression against the Gaza Strip stops.

Hamas expressed its appreciation for the steadfastness of the Yemeni people and their armed forces in confronting the American aggression, calling on the international community and human rights and humanitarian organizations to condemn this blatant aggression and stand with the Yemeni people in their legitimate right to defend their land and sovereignty.
