Istanbul – Saba:
A massive rally took place in Istanbul, Turkey, today under the slogan “Gaza is dying! Rise up,” to condemn the genocide being committed by the Zionist enemy in Gaza since October 7, 2023.
Thousands of protesters participated in the march, which started from the train station in the Üsküdar district on the Asian side of Istanbul, organized by the Humanitarian Relief Foundation (İHH).
Protesters chanted slogans against the genocide in Gaza, such as: "Criminal Zionist entity, get out of Palestine," "The children of Gaza are waiting for us," and "Freedom Flotilla, sail forth."
Other chants included: "From Üsküdar to Gaza, a thousand greetings to the resistance" and "Israel is a killer, leave Palestine."
Participants carried banners with messages like: "Send Turkish soldiers to Gaza," "Stop the genocide in Gaza," "Over 50,800 martyred in Palestine," "The siege on Gaza is illegal," and "Islamic nations, stop the Zionist gang."
The rally moved toward Üsküdar Square, amid strong solidarity with the Palestinian people.
Last Sunday, a similar march under the same title took place, with thousands of demonstrators marching from Beyazıt Square to Sultanahmet Square in front of the historic Hagia Sophia Mosque on the European side of Istanbul.
The Zionist enemy continues its aggression on the Gaza Strip—by land, sea, and air—since October 7, 2023. The attacks have resulted in the martyrdom of 51,157 civilians, the majority of whom are women and children, and the injury of 116,724 others. These numbers are not final, as thousands remain trapped under the rubble or on the streets, unreachable by emergency and rescue teams.
