Sana'a - Saba:
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Administration and Local and Rural Development, Mohammed al-Madani, inspected the situation in the Inner Haima District in Sana'a Governorate.
During the visit, al-Madani reviewed the progress of the General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCE) exams at the district center and listened to a briefing on the level of discipline in the exams and the measures taken to ensure their success.
He commended the efforts of educational workers in providing a suitable environment for students to take their exams in a calm and organized atmosphere, especially in rural areas.
The Deputy Prime Minister also inspected the summer courses in the district and praised the level of interest and the eagerness of parents to enroll their children in the courses and utilize the school vacation for their own benefit.
He emphasized the importance of summer courses in raising generations with a faith-based upbringing, starting with memorizing and reciting the Qur'an and developing their abilities and skills in all cultural and creative fields.
He pointed out the revolutionary leadership's commitment to building generations and raising them on the values of the Islamic religion, preparing them in various fields, and fortifying them scientifically, culturally, cognitively, and skillfully, enabling them to face challenges and dangers.
Deputy Prime Minister Al-Madani, accompanied by the Director of the Directorate, Kamal Al-Askari, inspected the archaeological sites of Al-Qudum Mosque and the historic village of Al-Ar.
Al-Madani emphasized the importance of preserving historical monuments and landmarks, as they embody Yemeni civilization, deeply rooted in human history.
Al-Madani reviewed the agricultural and water development situation in the directorate and listened to an explanation from the Director of the Directorate regarding the needs and requirements that would advance agricultural development and achieve self-sufficiency.
The Deputy Prime Minister highlighted the importance of advancing the agricultural sector, activating efforts, and implementing cooperative development projects that effectively contribute to achieving self-sufficiency, starting with expanding agricultural production and reaching food security and improving the standard of living for families.
He pointed out that the current phase requires concerted efforts and harnessing capabilities and energies to advance aspects of food security, which is a factor in the liberation and independence of any country.
