Gaza – Saba:
The Director of the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip, Munir Al-Bursh, announced on Thursday that "18 hospitals are completely out of service," noting that "only 20 hospitals are operating partially."
In a statement, Al-Bursh said that "53 children have died due to malnutrition, and 17 others have died from extreme cold during the war in the Gaza Strip."
The Ministry of Health had earlier announced that Al-Durra Children's Hospital in eastern Gaza City is now out of service. In a press release on Thursday, the ministry explained that the hospital suffered major damage due to an Israeli attack two days ago.
With Al-Durra Hospital no longer operational, the total number of hospitals that have gone out of service since the beginning of what has been described as a genocide war has risen to 37 hospitals.
