Gaza – Saba:
The Executive Director of the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP), Cindy McCain, confirmed on Saturday that the conditions in Gaza are tragic, with people starving.
She reiterated that the WFP has exhausted all its food supplies in Gaza, as Zionist enemy forces have blocked humanitarian aid for the past seven weeks.
The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) quoted McCain as saying, "The World Food Programme has sent its last remaining truck of food supplies to Gaza," emphasizing that nothing is left in stock.
She warned that more people will suffer from famine due to the ongoing situation in Gaza, as the WFP is unable to enter and deliver aid. McCain called for a ceasefire and urged that humanitarian workers be allowed access to the region.
