A passenger bus collided with a lamppost at Cairo International Airport, injuring several passengers.
EgyptAir announced that one of the buses transporting passengers on a flight from Cairo to Erbil was involved in a collision with a lamppost on the runway at Cairo International Airport in the early hours of Saturday morning. The collision resulted in minor injuries to the driver and several passengers.
In an official statement, the company confirmed that the injured were immediately transferred to EgyptAir Hospital for first aid and to ensure their health.
EgyptAir clarified that the flight to Erbil departed on schedule with the remaining uninjured passengers on board. The injured passengers will be accommodated on other flights after their health is confirmed.
