Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Water Resources Dr. Radwan al-Rubai and Sana'a capital mayor Dr. Hamoud Ubad on Saturday inaugurated the agricultural and development activities at the summer centers for the current season in the capital Sana'a.
During the inauguration, the Minister of Agriculture emphasized the importance of these activities in instilling an agricultural culture among generations. He pointed out that agricultural culture contributes to strengthening the concept of self-sufficiency, which represents a fundamental pillar for achieving comprehensive victory against enemies and achieving decision-making and sovereignty.
He urged consideration of achieving self-sufficiency, based on a sense of responsibility, in implementation of the directives of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi.
Ubad explained that the inauguration of agricultural activities during the summer courses reflects a growing state of awareness and knowledge.
He considered the launch of the tree-planting season, coinciding with summer activities, a pivotal step toward confronting aggression and achieving food security. He noted that summer courses contribute to preparing a generation committed to its religion and homeland, capable of achieving self-sufficiency in the future.
