Moscow - Saba:
Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov announced on Saturday that Valery Gerasimov, Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, informed Russian President Vladimir Putin of the completion of the operation to liberate the Kursk Oblast from the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Peskov said during a press briefing, according to the Russian Sputnik news agency: "The Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, Valery Gerasimov, informed the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, President Vladimir Putin, of the completion of the operation to liberate the Kursk Oblast from Ukrainian neo-Nazis."
The Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces announced that the defenses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces had collapsed as a result of the Russian army's operations in the Kursk Oblast.
Gerasimov told Russian President Vladimir Putin during a video conference: "As a result of the offensive operations carried out simultaneously in all directions by military units of the Russian Kursk Group, as well as the penetration of the enemy's rear by underground landing forces within a volunteer formation, veterans from the 11th Airborne Assault Brigade, the 30th Artillery Regiment, and the Akhmat Special Forces Unit, through the gas pipeline, the defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces collapsed."
Russian President Vladimir Putin confirmed on Saturday that the Ukrainian regime's adventure had ended in "complete failure," emphasizing that the heavy losses incurred by Ukrainian forces, particularly among its best-trained and best-equipped units, would inevitably be reflected across the entire contact line.
