Al-Khalil – SABA:
Israeli occupation forces stormed several neighborhoods in the city of Al-Khalil, south of the West Bank, on Friday, firing large amounts of toxic tear gas canisters, which disrupted Palestinian civilians’ movement and heightened tensions in the area.
Local sources told Palestine Today Agency that the enemy forces raided the neighborhoods of Issa, Al-Hawouz, and Duwairban, with military vehicles patrolling the streets, causing panic among residents, especially as soldiers obstructed traffic and clashed with passersby.
Meanwhile, the occupation forces fired stun grenades and toxic gas canisters at citizens near the entrance to Al-Fawwar refugee camp, south of the city, with no injuries reported at the time of this report.
This raid comes amid escalating daily assaults by occupation forces against Palestinians in various parts of the West Bank, amid growing local and international calls to end these violations.
