Sana'a - Saba:
An expanded meeting in Al-Wahda District, Sana'a Capital Secretariat, discussed on Saturday aspects related to enhancing the role of the education sector in supporting and ensuring the success of summer activities and programs in the district.

The meeting, attended by the education sector official—Deputy Head of the Subcommittee for Summer Activities and Programs in the Secretariat, Abdulqader Al-Mahdi, District Director Sami Humaid, Education Zone Director Malatf Al-Matari, and directors of public and private schools, reviewed the progress of summer activities and programs. It also addressed mechanisms to strengthen the role of educational leaders in making these programs successful.

The meeting emphasized the importance of summer programs, which include scientific, cultural, social, cognitive, skill-building, and sports activities that benefit male and female students.

The education sector official stressed the importance of everyone taking responsibility in countering the "soft war" targeting youth, noting that summer programs are among the most important means of protecting them from its dangers.

Parents were urged to enroll their children in summer programs to build their capacities, hone their talents, and strengthen their connection to Quranic culture and faith-based identity.

Meanwhile, the district director stated that summer schools are the ideal place to develop students' skills and abilities during the summer vacation. He emphasized the need for concerted efforts and teamwork in mobilizing support for the success of summer programs, which serve as beacons for teaching the Holy Qur'an and its sciences.

The education zone director highlighted the importance of supporting and ensuring the success of summer activities, which this year feature a number of programs aimed at enhancing the knowledge and youth skills.
