Yahya Ali Al-Ra'i, Speaker of the Yemeni Parliament, sent a message of condolence and solidarity to Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Iran, following the tragic explosion at Shahid Rajaee Port in southern Iran, which resulted in dozens of fatalities and hundreds of injuries.
In his message, Al-Ra'i expressed Yemen’s full solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran—its parliament, government, and people—during this painful tragedy.
On behalf of the Presidency and members of the Yemeni Parliament, as well as the Yemeni people, Al-Ra'i extended his deepest condolences to his Iranian counterpart, the members of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, the brotherly Iranian people, and the families of the victims of the explosion in Bandar Abbas, southern Iran.
He prayed to Almighty God to bestow His infinite mercy and forgiveness upon the victims, grant them eternal peace in Paradise, grant their families patience and solace. He also wished a swift recovery for the wounded.
