Amran - Saba:
A meeting in Amran province , chaired by Governor Dr. Faisal Ja'man, discussed on Tuesday the performance progress at the Public Works Office in the province.
The meeting, attended by the office director, Engineer Sultan Al-Qarahi, as well as the directors of the Public Works branches in Amran and Jabal Yazeed districts, and Wael Abu Halfa, director of Khamr district, reviewed the implemented plans, completed projects, and the challenges facing the office’s work, along with ways to address them.
The meeting also discussed measures related to removing violations and random constructions, controlling violators, opening and paving roads, and implementing the general plan for new neighborhood units in Amran city, as well as in the centers of Amran, Khamr, and Al-Jabal districts.
Governor Ja'man stressed the need to prevent construction violations, adhere to technical requirements for licensing, enhance field monitoring, and remove violations—especially in agricultural lands and new neighborhood units.
He emphasized the importance of concerted efforts and strengthening coordination with security agencies to improve the office’s performance and its branches in implementing road projects, removing random constructions and violations, and executing urban plans. He affirmed the leadership’s commitment to supporting the office’s efforts in carrying out its tasks.
Meanwhile, Al-Qarahi presented a report on the office’s workflow, measures taken to remove violations , random constructions, control violators, open , pave roads, as well as the implementation of the general plan and neighborhood units in areas where plans have been deployed.
