Israeli enemy forces assaulted Palestinian citizens today, Wednesday, during a raid on the town of Sinjil, north of Ramallah, and the village of Tabqa in the town of Dura, south of Hebron.
The Sinjil Municipality reported to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) that a large Israeli army force stormed the town of Sinjil at dawn today, raided dozens of homes, and took dozens of residents to a field investigation center in front of the home of Muhammad Zaid Tawafsha, where they assaulted and abused them. Among those detained was high school student Ayoub Jabr Khalil.
She added that the enemy ransacked dozens of homes, vandalized and destroyed citizens' property, and seized a motorcycle before withdrawing. All detainees were released after hours of field investigation.
In Hebron, enemy forces arrested a citizen from the city, south of the West Bank, on Wednesday.
Local sources reported that enemy forces stormed the city of Hebron and arrested Anas Yaqoub Mahfouz after searching his home, ransacking its contents, destroying their belongings, and breaking tiles.
Enemy forces also detained a number of citizens for several hours after raiding their homes in the village of Tabqa in the town of Dura, south of Hebron. They abused and assaulted them, subjecting them to field investigation. Among them was identified as 80-year-old Jamil Salem al-Huraibat.
Several military checkpoints were set up at the entrances to Hebron and its towns, villages, and refugee camps, and several main and secondary roads were closed with iron gates, concrete blocks, and earth mounds.
In another security development, Israeli bulldozers demolished a house in the village of Umm SAFA, northwest of Ramallah, on Wednesday.
Local sources reported that Israeli forces stormed the Jabal al-Ras area in the village and demolished the home of Khaled Abu Allan, despite the fact that the Israeli forces had been preventing him from reaching his home, located near the settlement outpost established by settlers since the middle of last year. They uprooted dozens of fruit trees and filled in a water well belonging to Abu Allan about two months ago.
The village of Umm SAFA, like other villages northwest of Ramallah, has witnessed ongoing attacks by Israeli forces and settlers targeting both land and residents.
It is noteworthy that in the first half of this year, the Israeli forces demolished 588 structures, harming 843 citizens, including 411 children.
In the same context, Israeli forces arrested a child in Khallet Makhul in the northern Jordan Valley on Wednesday and deliberately ran over several sheep.
Local sources reported that the enemy arrested the child Muhammad Yusef Basharat in Khallet Makhoul, and also deliberately ran over a number of sheep owned by the citizen Bashara.
