Hebron - Saba:
An elderly Palestinian citizen was injured on Tuesday with wounds and bruises following an attack carried out by extremist settlers, under the protection of the Zionist enemy forces, on residents of Khirbet Umm Nair adjacent to the village of Susiya in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron Governorate.
Anti-settlement activist Osama Makhamareh told the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA) that settlers from the "Susiya" settlement, built on citizens’ lands, attacked the homes of several residents from the Nawaj’ah family and others, as well as shepherds in the area. They pelted them with stones and, under threat of weapons, prevented them from leaving their homes, issuing death threats.
During the attack, the settlers assaulted the elderly citizen Mousa Ali Nawaj’ah (62 years old) while he was near his home, causing him to suffer bruises and contusions. He was transferred by Palestinian Red Crescent crews to Yatta Governmental Hospital for treatment.
This attack comes as part of a series of daily assaults carried out by settlers against citizens in Masafer Yatta, aimed at terrorizing residents and forcing them to leave, within systematic Judaization plans targeting Palestinian presence in southern Hebron.
