Gaza – Saba:
Massive demonstrations erupted today, Saturday, across several cities and capitals worldwide in condemnation of the ongoing Zionist aggression against the Gaza Strip.
According to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), thousands took part in protests held in the French capital Paris, the Norwegian capital Oslo, the British city of Manchester, the German cities of Stuttgart, Bremen, and Wolfsburg, as well as Berlin, Milan in Italy, Aarhus and the capital Copenhagen in Denmark, and both Helsingborg and Stockholm in Sweden. The demonstrators expressed their solidarity with the Palestinian people and demanded an immediate ceasefire and the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza.
Protesters raised Palestinian flags and signs denouncing the genocide committed by the Zionist regime against the Palestinian people in Gaza. They also called for an end to double standards and demanded the prosecution of the Zionist entity for its massacres, especially those targeting children.
Palestinians in Gaza are facing an unprecedented wave of starvation following the Israeli regime’s closure of all border crossings since early March. The blockade has severely restricted the entry of food, humanitarian aid, fuel, and medicine.
As time passes, residents of Gaza have exhausted all food resources, markets have emptied, and finding a piece of bread has become nearly impossible. The few remaining goods are being sold at skyrocketing prices, turning starvation into one of the most brutal and common causes of death in the strip.
With U.S. and European backing, the Israeli military has continued its genocidal campaign in Gaza since October 7, 2023. So far, it has killed 60,430 Palestinian civilians, the majority of them women and children, and wounded 148,722 others, in a still-incomplete toll, as thousands remain trapped under rubble or in unreachable areas.
