Ramallah – Saba:
The Central Command of the Palestinian Forces Alliance announced on Saturday its firm rejection of PA President Mahmoud Abbas' unilateral Palestinian decision-making and exclusion of core resistance factions under the pretexts of "international legitimacy" and "PLO program."
In a statement received by Yemen's Saba News Agency, the Alliance's Central Command declared:
- Total rejection of any exclusive, non-consensual elections that exploit national institutions to monopolize Palestinian decision-making
- Condemnation of Abbas' statements barring political forces/persons uncommitted to the PLO program and so-called "international legitimacy" from elections
- Warning that Abbas' call for a "disarmed Palestinian state" (including Gaza) constitutes:
Explicit disarmament of resistance
Dismantling of national defense capabilities
Service to the Zionist enemy amid ongoing aggression
Acceptance of autonomy under occupation rather than sovereignty
The Alliance emphasized:
1. The Palestinian National Council remains the supreme representative body for all Palestinians (homeland/diaspora)
2. Resistance remains a legitimate right under all laws/customs
3. Armed resistance in occupied Palestine constitutes the primary defense of national rights
It called on the Palestinian people and factions to:
- Confront attempts to liquidate the Palestinian cause through sham elections
- Reject separatist paths seeking to transform the national project into a sovereignty-stripped authority
