Moscow - Saba:
The Russian Ministry of Defense announced early Sunday morning that air defenses shot down 41 Ukrainian drones over several Russian regions from 8:00 PM to 11:25 PM Moscow time on Saturday.
Sputnik quoted the ministry as saying in a statement, "On August 2 of this year, during the period from 8:00 PM to 11:25 PM Moscow time, operational air defense systems destroyed and intercepted 41 Ukrainian drones, including: 19 over the Belgorod region, nine over the Black Sea, eight over the Voronezh region, three over the Kursk region, and two over the Bryansk region."
Ukrainian forces target Russian border areas in the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Voronezh, and Rostov regions, as well as the Crimean Peninsula, on an almost daily basis, with drones and missiles.
For their part, Russian forces respond by targeting exclusively Ukrainian military infrastructure, as well as facilities of the military-industrial complex, everything related to the storage, repair, or manufacture of military equipment, and centers for the concentration of Ukrainian armed forces personnel and foreign mercenaries.
