Hodeida starts activities to revive Prophet's Birthday
[Sun, 03 Aug 2025 18:35:41 +0300]

Hodeida - Saba:

The leadership of the local authority and the General Mobilization Unit in Hodeida Governorate today launched the activities and events commemorating the Prophet's birthday. The event, held under the slogan "At Your Service, O Messenger of Allah," was held at the Martyr of the Qur'an Exhibition in Hodeida City. The event was attended by a large number of officials and citizens, embodying the significance of the occasion in the hearts of Yemenis.

At the launching event, Hodeida Governor Abdullah Atifi stated that the celebration of this fragrant anniversary in various governorates reflects the deep spiritual and ideological connection to the Messenger of Allah and confirms that Yemenis are at the forefront of those adhering to the prophetic approach, despite challenges and conspiracies.

He explained that the Prophet's Birthday is a unifying moment for reviving the jihadist spirit brought by the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), renewing the pledge to the divine message, and reminding the nation of its historical responsibilities regarding major issues, foremost among them the massacres taking place in Gaza against women and children amid international silence and Arab complicity. Atifi pointed out that the growing celebrations of this occasion embody the faith-based identity and send messages of strength and steadfastness to a nation exhausted by dependency and deviation.

He pointed out that the launch of the events comes within the framework of an integrated mobilization project inspired by the values established by the Great Prophet, and instills in the collective consciousness of generations the meanings of freedom, pride, and independence, far removed from cultural and political alienation.

He emphasized that this occasion prepares the ground for strengthening national alignment and reconnecting Yemeni society to the source of its strength, represented by the Holy Quran and the biography of the Noble Prophet, at a time when the nation is subjected to systematic attempts to distort and distort it at all levels.

For his part, the First Deputy Governor and Head of General Mobilization, Ahmed Al-Bishri, explained that the occasion of the Prophet's birthday represents a milestone for a serious return to the Quran and the Prophet's approach in all aspects of life, in the face of the moral and political collapses that are sweeping the nation. He emphasized that the silence of Arab and Islamic regimes regarding the siege, starvation, and genocide Gaza is subjected to represents a betrayal of the approach of the Noble Prophet, who was at the forefront of defending the oppressed and the vulnerable.

He explained that Yemen, its leadership and people, do not merely theoretically, but rather offer positions and sacrifices that have made it the most sincere country in the region in championing the Palestinian cause, and the most steadfast in standing with the nation's causes without hesitation or compromise.

Al-Bishri noted that the people of Hodeida Governorate will remain true to their pledge, at the forefront of all events. He emphasized that the decorations and active participation represent a sincere expression of practical commitment to the Greatest Prophet, in word and deed, and an extension of the steadfast and confrontational stances that Yemenis have been demonstrating for years. At the event, attended by Member of Parliament Yasser Mazria and the governor's deputies, Mohammed Halisi and Ali Kabari, the Vice President of Dar Al-Ulum Al-Shari'ah University, Sheikh Ali Udhabi, explained that celebrating the birth of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) represents a milestone for connecting generations with the leader of humanity, who came as a mercy to the worlds.

He emphasized that Yemenis are not celebrating a historical symbol, but rather engaging with an eternal message that continues to live in their reality. They are recalling the values the Prophet instilled in his nation, by which societies thrive, regain their status, and rise from their slump.

He pointed out that scholars at this stage bear a great responsibility in clarifying the features of this approach and directing religious discourse to keep pace with challenges, unite the nation, and protect it from both soft and hard penetrations.

He pointed out that the steadfastness of Yemenis in the face of aggression and siege for more than a decade, and their adherence to the noble Prophet, confirm that this nation is still alive and possesses the steadfastness and awareness sufficient to lead the project of revival and liberation once again. Adhabi emphasized that the Prophet's birthday must become a comprehensive platform for mobilization and formation, building the human being spiritually, culturally, and behaviorally, restoring the nation's awareness of its status and role and determining the compass for the true struggle against the enemies of religion and humanity.

The event, which was attended by heads of government institutions and agencies, directors of executive offices, universities and institutes, and military and security leaders, included chants and poems expressing joy at the anniversary of the birth of the best of creation.
