The Security Directorate of Al-Hodeidah Governorate held a commemorative event today in the city of Al-Hodeidah, at the Martyr Leader Sayyid Hussein Badr al-Din al-Houthi Hall, marking the anniversary of the Prophet Muhammad’s birthday (peace and blessings be upon him) under the slogan “At Your Service, O Messenger of Allah.”
During the event, Governor Abdullah Atifi described the commemoration of the Prophet’s birth as a noble expression of the Yemenis’ deep connection to the Greatest Messenger, and a renewal of their pledge to follow his path in confronting forces of tyranny and aggression.
He noted that this bond with the Prophet reflects the authenticity of the Yemeni people and their steadfast faith-based values, emphasizing that this year’s celebrations in Al-Hodeidah will be distinguished, featuring festive displays, charitable initiatives, and social solidarity programs that strengthen community cohesion and counter any attempts to undermine internal unity.
Governor Atifi stated that the steadfastness and sacrifices of Yemenis on various fronts against the aggression complement their honorable stance in supporting the Palestinian people, stressing that the ongoing siege, starvation, and systematic killings in Gaza impose a historic and moral responsibility on the entire Muslim nation.
He also praised the efforts of security forces in upholding law and order, protecting public and private property, and deterring anyone who seeks to harm the internal front, considering the governorate’s security stability among the most significant achievements made possible by the vigilance of security personnel and the cooperation of citizens.
