SANA'A, Nov. 22 (Saba) - Minister of Foreign Affairs Hisham Sharaf met on Sunday with the recently-appointed Iranian ambassador to Yemen, Hassan Irloo.
They discussed ways to enhance the reciprocal cooperation in various areas between the two brotherly countries.
In the meeting, Sharaf valued Tehran's position rejecting military aggression and siege imposed on the Yemeni people, and its support of the international efforts to end the aggression that created the world's worsening humanitarian catastrophe.
The minister stressed the importance of cooperation between the two countries, particularly in education fields.
Meanwhile, the Iranian official said his country believed the military solution will not solve the problem in Yemen, stressing that Iran supports all efforts aimed at achieving a comprehensive political settlement and national reconciliation restore peace and stability in Yemen.
