SANA'A, November 01.2022 (Saba) - President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi al-Mashat, on Tuesday sent a cable of congratulations to the President of Brazil, Lula da Silva, on the occasion of his victory in the presidential elections.

President Al-Mashat stressed that winning these elections is evidence of the bias towards development and democracy that the Brazilian people adhere to.

He expressed confidence that Brazil, under President Lula's presidency, will return to the international arena more effectively and take its distinguished position in the service of humanitarian issues, particularly the Palestinian cause and climate issues.

President Al-Mashat wished his Brazilian counterpart success in his duties and the Brazilian people unity, peace, prosperity under his wise leadership.
