Sana’a – SABA:
A meeting held in Sana’a today, chaired by Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Water Resources, Dr. Radwan Al-Rubai, focused on strategies to strengthen media coverage of agricultural issues and enhance the media's role in supporting activities and sectors within Yemen’s agricultural landscape.
During the meeting, attended by Agricultural Services Sector Head Dhaifallah Shamlan, Minister Al-Rubai emphasized the importance of intensifying media efforts to highlight agricultural activities and events, showcase success stories in development projects, and produce quality programming and reports that promote agricultural development and raise public awareness about its significance.
He noted that the directives of the Revolution Leader, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi, serve as a fundamental reference for media work, which should function as a vital communication link between the agricultural community and official institutions and help present an accurate picture of the agricultural reality in Yemen.
Al-Rubai also praised the role of media as a central tool in agricultural awareness and guidance, describing it as a mirror reflecting the ongoing efforts in the agriculture and fisheries sectors. He stressed that advancing these sectors through effective media engagement is a crucial step toward achieving self-sufficiency.
