BAGHDAD November 22. 2023 (Saba) - Al-Mayadeen reported, citing field sources, on Wednesday, that American forces at the Harir base in northern Iraq were bombed.
This came after Reuters quoted the US Army as saying that it carried out “accurate” strikes against two facilities in Iraq, in response to what it said were “attacks targeting its forces there.”
A US Army statement said that US Central Command forces carried out "separate and precise strikes on two facilities in Iraq."
In the same context, Al-Mayadeen reported that five were martyred in an American air attack that targeted Jurf al-Nasr, south of the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, at dawn.
Yesterday, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced strikes on the American base of Ain al-Assad, western Iraq, in addition to also targeting the American base in Al-Shaddadi, south of the Syrian city of Al-Hasakah, in northeastern Syria.
The resistance stressed, in a statement, that the targeting of the two American bases in Iraq and Syria came in response to the crimes committed by the Zionist enemy entity against the people of the Gaza Strip, in the ongoing 46-day aggression.
