RAYMAH April 23. 2024 (Saba) - A meeting in Raymah governorate which included Minister of Public Works and Roads in the caretaker government Ghaleb Mutlaq and Governor of Raymah, Fares al-Habbari discussed the governorate’s needs for road projects, maintenance, construction, and asphalting.

It also touched on the procedures for implementing the directives of His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Chairman of the Supreme Political Council, during a visit to the governorate regarding the approval of a number of projects in the field of roads, because of their importance in alleviating the suffering of the people of the governorate who were deprived of service and development projects.

The meeting discussed the coordination mechanism with the governorate’s works office and the supervisory unit for the governorate’s road sector in preparing the estimated cost for road projects, determining the governorate’s need for “road, stone paving, and asphalt” and submitting it to the Ministry of Public Works and Roads.

It approved the completion of the excavation, paving, asphalting and construction works for the Al-Jebain - Bani Nahat - Sara’a - Rabu’ Bani Khouli governorate center road project in Al-Jebain District, with a length of 35 km, as well as the completion of the excavating and asphalting works for the Al-Jebain - Dahhal Road Project, which connects it to the Mazhar and Al-Salafiya districts, with a length of 65 km.
