SANA'A May 03. 2024 (Saba) - The summer courses this year - as in previous years - come as an important station for building an enlightened generation armed with the culture of the Holy Qur’an and correct faith education.
The advantage of this educational activity is that it comes within the framework of the comprehensive practical liberation orientation of the Yemeni people, which the aggression could not stop, as a result of the faith determination of this people and their adherence to their great values , principles and their Quranic culture.
The great impact that students achieve as a result of their enrollment in summer courses, in their behavior and religious, moral and practical commitment, is clearly evident, as this educational work is based on the light of God, His guidance, and His Noble Book, and stems from belonging to the people of wisdom and faith.
The open and model summer schools in Amanat Al-Asimah represent a golden opportunity in education, consolidating concepts, behavioral correction, acquiring knowledge , awareness, and good upbringing, the fruits of which are very great, achieving great impact and elevation on the human psyche, energies, perceptions, talents and abilities.
In order to translate the directives of the revolution leader , Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, the summer courses in the secretariat’s directorates receive unprecedented official , community interest and interaction, which embodies the responsibility that falls on everyone to support , make these courses successful , achieve their noble goals and objectives.
In the second week of the launch of these courses in all directorates, there is still a continuous and great demand to seize this opportunity and benefit from the activities in building students’ capabilities and refining their creative skills and talents in various fields.
An increase that exceeded expectations, according to the preliminary statistics of the Subcommittee on Summer Activities and Courses in the secretariat. The number of male and female students during the past ten days exceeded 100,000 male and female students in 954 schools, about 7,456 male and female workers.
There is an expansion to open new summer schools to accommodate those enrolled in all directorates, those in charge of them aspire to exceed previous numbers and enroll the largest number of students in the courses so that the benefit is widespread.
This increasing demand comes due to the successes and distinguished outcomes achieved by summer courses in recent years and the good fruits and results that parents and society have seen in the reality and behavior of their children, as well as the increased awareness of the , goals of summer activities and courses, and refuting the lies of the mouthpieces of aggression and its mercenaries.
In summer schools, students receive a range of sciences and knowledge that are useful to them, their society, and their country, primarily memorizing the Holy Qur’an, becoming familiar with its sciences, and learning applied sciences, in addition to holding sports and recreational activities, cultural competitions, trips, field visits, and others.
The importance of holding summer courses lies in preserving the emerging generations from deviation, false cultures, and the danger of soft war, in light of the enemy’s plots targeting the Islamic nation, weakening and dispersing it, misleading and corrupting societies, invading them intellectually , culturally, and controlling them.
With the aim of expanding the outcomes and fruits of these courses, the map of activities expanded, which was not limited to religious, cultural, educational and sports sciences only, but also included professional, artistic, agricultural, environmental, health , social events and activities, rehabilitation courses, artistic, craft , creative exhibitions, competitions, recreational trips and field visits.
Deputy Chairman of the subcommittee in the secretariat, Abdul Qader Al Mahdi, explained that the total activities implemented during the ten days amounted to more than 29,286 various activities within the framework of the general plan for this year.
He stated that the activities included the implementation of 15,835 visits, including five thousand and 938 visits from the official side, two thousand and 147 visits from the supervisory side, two thousand and 750 visits from the community, and more than five thousand members of the social committees in the directorates, which included initiatives to support students and provide for their needs.
The summer courses this year come in exceptional circumstances in which the Yemeni people stand with the oppressed Palestinian people, and fight the battle of the promised conquest and holy jihad against the forces of tyrants and global arrogance, as an embodiment of the steadfastness of the position of the Yemeni leadership and people in supporting the Palestinian cause.
From this standpoint, these courses are considered an important part in the battle of the Yemeni and Palestinian peoples, as a battle of identity, awareness and thought that is no less important than military war, as the enemy focuses on targeting people’s awareness, culture and identity, as a main option and goal in its war and aggression against the nation.
The enemy, with all its conspiracies and misleading war, seeks to spread bad negative concepts to domesticate the generations, dilute and corrupt the youth, and divert their thinking from the crucial and pivotal issues of their nation, foremost of which is the Palestinian issue , the liberation of the holy sites, and awareness of the realities of their enemies and the nature of the conflict with them.
