Sana'a - Saba:
The Joint Coordinating Unit of Oversight Agencies and the Public Prosecution (Attorney General for Public Funds Prosecutions) held a meeting on Tuesday, chaired by Redhaan Al-Mutawakel, Deputy Chairman of the Supreme National Authority for Combating Corruption and head of the unit.

The meeting was attended by Engineer Abdulmalik Al-Arshi, Chairman of the Supreme Authority for Tenders and Bids Control and member of the unit, Dr. Yaseen Al-Khursani, member of the Tenders and Bids Control Authority, and unit members Mohammed Aamer, Deputy Minister of Finance, and Abdullah Haidar, Deputy Minister of Civil Service and Administrative Development. They discussed a matrix of priority corruption cases submitted by the Anti-Corruption Authority.

In the presence of Judge Hussein Al-Azzi, representative of the Attorney General for Public Funds Prosecutions and head of the subunit, Wadie Al-Saada, head of the Financial Information Unit at the Central Bank and member of the unit, and Judge Kamal Al-Humaidi, member of the State Legal Bureau, the meeting approved coordination on 130 priority corruption cases, completing investigative procedures, and submitting the results.

The meeting reviewed a report on violations in the Public Works Office in the Capital Secretariat and its branches in various districts, submitted by the subunit. It endorsed completing oversight measures to strengthen anti-corruption procedures, recover state resources, and submit the outcomes.

The discussion also emphasized the importance of monitoring and following up on state cases in line with the current phase of change, safeguarding public funds and properties, and assigning the subunit to study related documents in coordination with the State Legal Bureau and relevant merger committees.

Additionally, the meeting addressed several agenda items and made the necessary decisions regarding them.
