SANA'A April 24. 2024 (Saba) - A training workshop was held today ,Wednesday, in Sana'a to review development work, unify the path, and maintain the general direction of development, organized by the Bonyan Development Foundation in cooperation with the National Program to Address the Phenomenon of Begging.
The workshop, which was attended by the head of the General Authority for Small and Micro Enterprise Development, Ahmed Al-Kabsi, aimed to introduce 30 participants from the cadres of the National Program to Address the Phenomenon of Begging, the Martyrs Foundation, and the Bonyan Foundation, to integrated development work.
The Executive Director of the National Program for Addressing the Begging Phenomenon, Yasser Sharaf El-Din, stressed the importance of the workshop through the field work of the program’s cadres , the Martyrs and Bunyan Foundations when studying the case , the process of training , rehabilitation and then economic empowerment.
He pointed out that the workshop introduced participants to the social, organizational, and economic dimensions when implementing programs, projects, and value chains.
While the Executive Director of the Bonyan Foundation, Dr. Muhammad Al-Madani, explained that the workshop focuses on the partnership between governmental, community and private efforts in order to mobilize, provide financing, technical support and decision-making.
He pointed out the importance of associations at the level of each district and province in implementing community projects and initiatives, considering community efforts as the first nucleus for achieving sustainable development and building a strong and effective economy.
