Moroccan cities demonstrate in support for Gaza
[24/April/2024]

RABAT April 24. 2024 (Saba) - Many Moroccan cities have witnessed massive demonstrations and marches supporting Palestine and Gaza and demanding an end to the brutal Zionist aggression against the Strip.

Local media reported that thousands of Moroccans participated in demonstrations to demand support for the Palestinians, stopping the Zionist war, and delivering aid to the Gaza Strip.

The demonstrators called on Arab and Islamic countries to take action, given the seriousness of the situation in the Gaza Strip, and to work to help the Palestinians.

Several cities also witnessed demonstrations, such as Rabat (west), Tangier, and Oued Zem (north), during which participants raised the Palestinian flag and banners in support of the Palestinian cause and in support of the resistance.

In Tangier, a massive march demanded an end to starving the residents of Gaza and preventing the displacement of civilians. Participants praised Gaza’s steadfastness throughout 200 days from the start of the Zionist aggression.

The participants in the march chanted slogans such as (Moroccan greetings to proud Palestine), (O prisoner, rest, rest, we will continue the struggle), (Palestine is for the free, normalization is a public disgrace), (O Muslims, oh free, Al-Aqsa is calling us) and (With our soul and blood, we will redeem you, O Al-Aqsa).

These demonstrations come in response to calls from civil organizations to support Palestine, including the “Moroccan Authority to Support the Nation’s Issues” and the “Moroccan Front to Support Palestine.”

On an almost daily basis, many Moroccan cities, including the capital, Rabat, are witnessing massive vigils in solidarity with the Palestinian people and demanding an end to the Zionist raids on Gaza, the lifting of the siege and the entry of aid.
