MOSCOW April 25. 2024 (Saba) - Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova warned on Thursday that potential US nuclear weapons facilities in Poland will become among the legitimate targets for destruction in the event of a direct military confrontation between Russia and NATO.

"The Polish authorities have not hidden their ambitions regarding the deployment of US nuclear weapons stationed in Europe, the Polish leadership has talked about this for a long time, and they are still commenting on this and actively using it in their deep hostile policy towards Russia," Zakharova said.

According to the Russian news agency TASS, the spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry stressed that in the event of the appearance of US nuclear weapons on Polish soil, their positions will become in the list of legitimate targets for destruction when a direct military conflict with NATO erupts.
