GAZA May 24. 2024 (Saba) - The Zionist enemy intensified its fierce and continuous shelling on various parts of the Gaza Strip, by land, sea, and air on Friday, resulting in dozens of Palestinian martyrs and wounded.
The Palestinian news agency, WAFA, reported the martyrdom of five citizens and the injury of others, in the bombing of a house by the occupation warplanes in al-Fakhoura neighborhood western Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip, which witnessed a series of intense raids.
Two citizens were martyred in the bombing of a house belonging to the al-Masri family in Sheikh Radwan neighborhood northern Gaza City.
The occupation artillery fired dozens of shells at various neighborhoods in Gaza City, as well as the neighborhoods of al-Zaytoun, Tal al-Hawa, al-Rimal south, al-Sabra, and Sheikh Ajleen area.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces are advancing towards Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip, besieging some of its medical staff and the wounded.
Military aircraft roam the airspace of Gaza City at low altitudes, amid the noise of a camp for children and adults.
The occupation artillery targeted Juhor al-Dik area southeaster Gaza City, amidst heavy gunfire from military vehicles at the homes of citizens.
The occupation warplanes also bombed two residential apartments belonging to Abu al-Labban family in Tunnel Street northern Gaza City, and al-Ayoubi street in al-Daraj neighborhood, injuring dozens with various injuries.
Occupation vehicles and drones fired a hail of bullets in Ali bin Abi Talib Mosque area and Eight Street southern Gaza City.
The occupation warships continue to shell the coast of Gaza City.
In the southern Gaza Strip, "Kuwad Kaptor" drones hover around the European Hospital eastern Khan Yunis city, and occupation military vehicles advance from the eastern area of Rafah city towards the city center on the outskirts of Shabura camp, amidst missile, artillery, and gunfire.
In a preliminary toll, the number of martyrs has risen since the start of the occupation aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023 to 35,800 martyrs, in addition to 80,200 wounded.
