SANA'A May 24. 2024 (Saba) - His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Chairman of the Supreme Political Council, sent a cable of congratulations to the Lebanese people, army and resistance on the occasion of the 24th anniversary of the Resistance and Liberation Day, stating:
I am pleased to send to the brotherly Lebanese people, their army and their valiant resistance my great congratulations on the occasion of the 24th anniversary of the Day of Resistance and Liberation.
This holiday constituted a building block of pride and dignity for brotherly Lebanon and the Arab and Islamic nation, a turning point in the history of the conflict with the Israeli enemy and a strong start to successive achievements until the victory of July 2006.
Yemen looks with pride at the makers of the Lebanese Resistance and Liberation Day with its leaders and free resistance people who sowed martyrdom in the paths of struggle and generated liberation and victory.
We affirm our support for Lebanon to liberate the remaining occupied territories, and we hope that the political forces in Lebanon will unite their ranks and speak and be able to agree on the election of a President of the Republic in order to preserve security, stability and civil peace.
We pray to God Almighty to repeat this occasion and to liberate the last inch of brotherly Lebanon land, leading to the complete liberation of dear Palestine.
