BEIRUT May 29. 2024 (Saba) - Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah has announced that it had targeted a deployment of Zionist enemy soldiers in the vicinity of al-Samaqa site in the occupied Kfar Shuba hills, confirming that direct casualties.
In a statement, according to al-Mayadeen, the Lebanese resistance confirmed that this targeting comes in support of the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, and in support of their resistance.
Before targeting the Zionist site, the resistance carried out a concentrated fire attack from a short distance, using guided missiles, artillery shells, and direct weapons, targeting the Ramia site, its garrison, its equipment, and the positions of its soldiers, causing direct hits.
Commenting on these field developments, al-Mayadeen analyst for Lebanon and resistance affairs Abbas Fneish pointed out that the resistance’s shooting in Operation Ramia “were close, between only 100, 120, and 150 meters,” and “it was intentional.”
In an interview with al-Mayadeen, Fneish pointed out that “there is more than one work specialty in the attack, which means that the throwing distances in the attack varied between long support, medium support, and close support.”
He stated that “studying the operation’s surroundings is the basis for it, which gives an imprint and courage to the resistance to carry out this work,” speaking about the characteristics of the occupation sites.
Fneish linked Operation Ramia to the two operations of al-Malikiyah on May 26 and 27, pointing out that the operation that took place on Sunday night in al-Malikiyah “was planned carefully, in a different manner, such that monitoring and anticipation operations remained for quite a while, and then, targeting mechanisms entering the site.
He continued saying "after that a second format of attack occurred on Monday morning, different and qualitative, as a concentrated fire attack, guided missiles, and artillery were carried out, coinciding with the implementation of an air attack from attack drones.”
He added these operations, which Hezbollah is carrying out within its formations, are a message that “the resistance is capable of going to field surprises that it decides, such that the surprises may be new tactics, or reveal more than that,” and it is also a message, Its content is that it is “ready and present at points that the enemy cannot imagine, and that it is still carrying out its operations from the border points, which denies the occupation’s claims that it has pushed the party away from the border.”
He pointed out that the Islamic Resistance “carried out 76 military operations, between the 20th and 26th of this month,” which included “hitting ten command centers, four military vehicles, and 15 settlement units.”
This comes as the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah - continues to carry out awareness-raising operations against the Zionist enemy’s positions and its spread on the Lebanese-Palestinian border, in the context of its support for the Gaza Strip and its resistance, and in response to the repeated occupation attacks on southern villages and towns.
