GAZA May 31. 2024 (Saba) - The Zionist enemy army has partially withdrawn from Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip, but continues its massacres against Palestinian civilians.
In this context, the correspondent of the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) in Gaza reported on Thursday that Palestinian citizens went to inspect their homes in the areas from which the Zionist enemy army withdrew, and they were shocked by the extent of the destruction that befell the camp, as the Zionist enemy destroyed most of the buildings, health facilities, and UNRWA schools.
He pointed out that the Zionist enemy burned and bulldozed large parts of the camp and changed its features, and a large number of citizens were unable to recognize the locations of their homes due to the extensive bulldozing of the camp.
He pointed out that before most of the bodies of the martyrs that were still on the roads were recovered, the Zionist enemy army began firing a heavy barrage of shells and Quatcopter drone bullets towards the citizens, forcing them to quickly leave the camp. This naturally led to the death of nine martyrs and the injury of dozens citizens.
He explained that a large number of residents of the northern Gaza Strip were also unable to reach their places of residence, as the Zionist enemy forces are still present on the outskirts of the Jabalia camp, the areas of the Beit Lahia project, Sheikh Zayed City, and other adjacent areas in the northern Gaza Strip.
He stressed that the losses were very large in the northern Gaza Strip and that most buildings, institutions, schools, hospitals and public facilities need to be rebuilt.
He added, "On the other hand, we also witnessed several pieces of Zionist tanks and bulldozers destroyed on the roads, as further evidence of fierce battles taking place between the Palestinian resistance and the Zionist enemy army in the streets and roads of the Jabalia camp."
