BEIRUT June 25. 2024 (Saba) - Sheikh Nabil Qaouk, a member of the Central Council of Lebanon's Hezbollah, highlighted the transformative impact of support alliances from Lebanon, Iraq, and Yemen, reshaping regional dynamics and bolstering Gaza's position both militarily and politically.
Speaking at an honorary ceremony commemorating the martyrdom anniversary of fighter Hassan Mohammed Ali Saab in southern Lebanon's Imam Ali Husseiniya, Sheikh Qaouk emphasized that Lebanon's support front has strengthened the negotiating and military capabilities of Gaza's resistance movement.
Qaouk criticized the United States, alleging its active role in prolonging conflicts in Gaza and Yemen, and supporting Israeli aggression against Lebanon and Gaza through military and political channels.
He pointed out that Israeli threats have backfired, instilling fear and panic among settlers rather than assuring them, suggesting weakness rather than strength on the part of the enemy leadership. Qaouk underscored that continuous threats from Israel signify its incapacity and vulnerability, asserting that intimidation tactics cannot alter the reality of the enemy's defeat.
Regarding Lebanon's stance, Qaouk affirmed its resilience and independence in ensuring security, attributing Lebanon's protection to the strength, strategies, and surprises of its resistance forces. He emphasized the capability of Lebanon's missiles to target effectively and reiterated Lebanon's commitment to resisting Israeli aggression.
In conclusion, Sheikh Qaouk criticized America's biased support for Israel, reaffirming that this stance only strengthens Lebanon's resolve in supporting Gaza's resistance and Palestinian aspirations for justice and independence.
