BEIJING July 24. 2024 (Saba) - China's exports of passenger cars to the United States have reached a record high of $401.7 million in June, according to official Chinese data released today.

This figure represents a threefold increase compared to January and a 17% rise from May. The June export value marks the highest in the history of trade between China and the United States.

The surge in Chinese car exports to the U.S. occurs amidst growing concerns among companies about their future, as Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has threatened to impose higher tariffs on all Chinese automobiles.
