GAZA July 26. 2024 (Saba) - The Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" called today, following the martyrdom of the captive leader Sheikh Mustafa Abu Arra (63 years old) from Aqaba town in Tubas in the enemy's prisons as a result of medical negligence, "the mujahideen called for revenge for his blood", holding the occupation responsible for his assassination.
Hamas said in a statement that the leader Abu Arra was martyred after being transferred from Rimon Prison to Soroka Hospital, due to the deterioration of his health after his long suffering with illness and deliberate medical neglect in the occupation prisons, in a new cowardly assassination operation, added to the occupation's criminal record against our prisoners.
"While Hamas offers its condolences to the family of the martyr, it promises the prisoners imminent freedom and deliverance from the prisons of injustice, medical neglect and inhumane treatment to which they are subjected around the clock, which has doubled and escalated in light of the current Zionist government's decisions," it added.
It pointed out that the leader Sheikh Abu Arra, who holds a rich national, advocacy and social record throughout his years of life that he spent in effort, jihad, sacrifice and giving; and was subjected to persecution and deportation to Marj al-Zuhur and arrest by the occupation many times for more than 12 years; here he is today ascending after a slow killing operation that was carried out against him from the moment of his arrest and deprivation of treatment.
It stressed that "this heinous crime falls within the framework of the ongoing war of extermination, and within the framework of the systematic killings carried out by the occupation by political decision, and with public incitement from the ministers of the Nazi government, which calls for killing prisoners and getting rid of them."
Hamas movement called on "all the mujahideen, who were raised by the martyred sheikh, to aim bullets and explosive devices at the occupation soldiers and settlers in revenge for the blood of the martyr and the martyrs of our righteous people."
