CAPITALS August 01. 2024 (Saba) – It is essential for the Zionist enemy and its backers to understand that escalating aggression and targeting resistance leaders will not lead to their supposed victory. The resistance forces are prepared to respond in a manner worthy of their martyrs' sacrifice, whether through a comprehensive war to eradicate the Zionist entity or by imposing new realities on this criminal enemy and its American allies.
The assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh and prominent jihadist leader Fouad Shukr has opened a Pandora’s box for the Zionist enemy, which will face severe repercussions. This act will only strengthen the resolve of the resistance and their supporters, deterring leaders of aggression from believing they can intimidate the resistance without facing severe consequences.
In response to the Zionist enemy's reliance on assassination, it is clear that neither the resistance forces nor their supporters will yield. They are committed to continuing their struggle, with each action taken by the enemy against the Palestinian cause only bringing it closer to its own downfall rather than achieving victory.
The Yemeni front, under the leadership of Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, is poised to play a significant role in addressing the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh and Hezbollah leader Fouad Shukr. Last night, al-Houthi vowed military retaliation against the enemy entity, highlighting the growing resolve and readiness of the resistance fronts to respond decisively.
The leader of the revolution, in a statement mourning martyrs Ismail Haniyeh and Fouad Shukr, declared that Yemen will fully cooperate with the jihad and resistance axis to avenge the martyrs and address the injustices faced by the Palestinian people. He emphasized that the Islamic movement has emerged as a strong and steadfast front against Zionist aggression, which will fail in its attempts to undermine the resistance and extinguish the jihadist spirit of the Palestinian fighters and their allies.
The leader noted that the Zionist entity's involvement in Haniyeh's assassination has escalated the conflict to a broader and more severe level, with serious repercussions for the enemy. He condemned the ongoing genocide against the Palestinian people, carried out by the Zionist enemy with American support over the past ten months.
The Yemeni armed forces have elevated their alert level to the highest degree, preparing for a significant military operation as part of the resistance axis efforts. According to military sources in Sana'a speaking to the Lebanese newspaper *Al-Akhbar*, the response will involve not only Yemeni forces but also coordination with Lebanese, Iraqi, and Palestinian resistance movements.
This response is expected to be an open conflict targeting the core of the Zionist entity and its regional supporters, including American bases. The sources indicated that the retaliation will exceed the Zionist entity's defensive capabilities and will challenge the limits of both the entity and Washington. In response, the U.S. Department of Defense has deployed the battleships *USS Wasp*, *USS Oak Hill*, and *USS New York*, along with 2,500 soldiers, to the eastern Mediterranean to support the Zionist entity.
The sources continued: The American naval and land military presence will be in the sights of the resistance axis. They considered that "the Zionist attacks that targeted the southern suburbs of Beirut, Iraq, and Iran during the past two days require a broad response, which is being coordinated, and the entity must bear the consequences of these Nazi crimes."
In this context, the Speaker of the Iranian Islamic Shura Council, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, said: "Let the usurping Zionist regime know that it will pay a heavy price for attacking Iran's security by committing this cowardly crime, a price that was not in the calculations of the Zionist entity."
For his part, the leader of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, Khalil Al-Hayya, considered that the Zionist enemy is delusional that the assassination of Haniyeh will weaken the will of the resistance, and stressed that the Zionist enemy, with its new crime, has shown the world once again that it is the source of evil, injustice and instability.
Hamas leader Khalil Al-Hayya condemned the Zionist entity, stating that its recent actions have reaffirmed its role as the source of evil, injustice, and instability in the world.
Iranian leaders have also expressed their strong response to the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh. Sayyed Ali Khamenei emphasized that avenging Haniyeh's death is a duty for the Islamic Republic, interpreting the assassination as an act that invites severe punishment for the Zionist entity.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian vowed to defend Iran’s integrity and make invaders regret their actions. The Iranian Revolutionary Guards declared that the assassination would provoke a harsh and painful response from Iran and the Resistance Axis, labeling the act as a violation of international laws and norms.
Sheikh Ali al-Jaber, a member of the Central Council of Lebanese Hezbollah, has vowed that the blood of Ismail Haniyeh, the Hamas Political Bureau Chief, will not be avenged in vain. He assured that a severe and painful response would follow the assassination.
Al-Jaber described the assassination as a "dangerous development," occurring shortly after Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's recent visit to Washington. He cautioned that this event could potentially trigger a large-scale regional conflict.
