SANA'A August 11. 2024 (Saba) - The Prime Minister of the Zionist entity, Benjamin Netanyahu, has returned once again to the strategy of procrastination, delay and evasion after the tripartite American-Egyptian-Qatari statement calling on the two sides to return to the negotiating table by setting new conditions and demands in which he retracts what the mediators conveyed as a Zionist paper, which was part of the Biden project and later a UN Security Council resolution.
As usual, Netanyahu does not want to conclude a deal, but he is maneuvering, evading and setting conditions and demands to thwart any move in this direction in order to gain time, prolong the aggression on the Gaza Strip and implement Zionist projects in the Strip and the region, according to analysts.
It seems that the attempt to revive the negotiations of the exchange deal by the administration of US President Joe Biden between Hamas and the Zionist entity came at this particular time as an attempt by Washington to contain the escalation and tension in the region after the Zionist enemy carried out a treacherous assassination of the head of the political bureau of the Hamas movement, Ismail Haniyeh, in Tehran, and the assassination of Commander Fouad Shukr in the southern suburb of Beirut, and the Zionist aggression on the port of Hodeidah in Yemen, and Iran, Lebanon and Yemen pledged a harsh and painful response.
However, Netanyahu preempted on Thursday the date of sending the Zionist negotiating delegation to Cairo or Doha with a war crime carried out by his Zionist gang, which calls itself an army that military analysts describe as the dirtiest in the world, yesterday, Saturday, by committing a massacre against unarmed Palestinian citizens from the displaced in the "Al-Tabi'in" school in the Al-Daraj neighborhood, which shelters displaced people, and which claimed the lives of more than 100 martyrs and hundreds of injuries.
The Palestinians demand that the international community stop this madness and inhumane brutality, because the citizens are the ones who pay the most painful price due to the failure of the international community to force the Zionist entity to respect international law, including humanitarian law and human rights law.
The Palestinians also demand the necessity of stopping the brutal war and stopping these massacres and Zionist genocide of the Palestinian people and the inhuman crimes against detainees and prisoners in the occupation prisons.
Netanyahu's office claims that "Hamas" is the one preventing the ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement and that the Zionist entity did not add any condition to the broad outlines of the deal.
However, there are new conditions and demands that Netanyahu adds in every round of negotiations. Netanyahu put forward a new demand to establish a security inspection mechanism in the middle of the Gaza Strip that prevents Hamas elements from passing to the north of the Strip. He also demanded American guarantees to allow the Zionist entity to return to fighting in the Strip after the first stage of the deal.
In the latest response document that the Zionist entity submitted to the mediators, the issue of preventing the passage of militants was formulated in a vague manner that does not explicitly mention the mechanism following American pressure aimed at preventing the collapse of the talks, but Netanyahu continues to insist on including the mechanism in the future negotiations.
Another request that Netanyahu recently made, which was not included in the original plan approved by the Zionist War Cabinet, is the US commitment to allow the Zionist entity to return to fighting in the Strip after the first stage of the deal, if negotiations for a settlement are held.
This proves, in words and deeds, that Netanyahu and his far-right government have made their choice to continue killing and destroying any semblance of life in Gaza, with American political and material complicity and support for this brutal and illegal behavior of slaughtering Palestinian civilians.
Iran has pledged to respond to the assassination of Haniyeh in Tehran following his participation in the inauguration ceremony of the new Iranian President, Masoud Pezeshkian, and a few hours after the assassination of one of the most prominent Hezbollah leaders, Fouad Shukr, in an airstrike on the southern suburbs of Beirut.
In this context, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf reiterated today, Sunday, the emphasis on "revenge for the blood of Hamas Political Bureau Chief Ismail Haniyeh, who was assassinated on July 31 in Tehran, and said it is a religious and national duty." Qalibaf explained that the "Tabi'in School massacre" in Gaza City proved that "Israel" is a disgrace to all humanity and only understands the language of force.
The Iranian Parliament Speaker said: "According to the directives of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, we consider revenge for Haniyeh, who was martyred on our land, a religious and national duty." He added: "Israel must await punishment."
Qalibaf stressed that Islamic countries should take practical measures to support the Palestinian people to stop the Zionist war machine.
On the other hand, Iranian Acting Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani told the Belgian Foreign Minister: Iran will respond legally and decisively to the assassination of Haniyeh.
Ali Shamkhani, the Iranian Leader's advisor on political affairs, said yesterday, Saturday: Legal, diplomatic and media measures have been taken to punish "Israel."
Earlier today, the German government spokesman said: German Chancellor Olaf Scholz informed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that it is time to complete the agreement on the release of the hostages and a ceasefire in Gaza.
It is worth noting that Netanyahu is trying hard to expand the scope of the Gaza war and does not want a ceasefire, and that his speech before the US Congress caused "severe disappointment" in the world, and his government showed its unwillingness to reach a ceasefire in Gaza "at every step".
Since October 7, the Zionist enemy army has continued its aggression on the Gaza Strip, with American and European support, as its aircraft bomb the vicinity of hospitals, buildings, towers and homes of Palestinian civilians and destroy them over the heads of their residents, and prevent the entry of water, food, medicine and fuel, which led to the martyrdom of about 40 thousand people and the injury of more than 91 thousand Palestinians, and the displacement of 90 percent of the population of the Strip, according to data from the United Nations.
