IBB August 20. 2024 (Saba) – Ibb province on Tuesday launched its commemorations for the Prophet Muhammad's birthday with a significant speech event attended by key figures, including members of Parliament, the Shura Council, and local officials.
Abdulfattah Ghallab, the official of general mobilization, highlighted the importance of the occasion in reinforcing divine principles and the prophetic example.
Ghallab urged attendees to use this time to renew their commitment to the Prophet’s teachings and to reflect these values in daily life.
Cultural activist Ahmed al-Muhajri emphasized the opportunity to draw lessons from the Prophet’s life and to revive his moral example.
He stressed the importance of celebrating the Prophet’s birthday to honor his role as a model of virtue.
While cultural activist Hashem Wajih al-Din noted Yemen's historical devotion to the Prophet and called for a return to his teachings to address current challenges.
The event served as a reminder of the deep connection Yemenis have with the Prophet and the need to embody his example in contemporary life.
