Ammar al-Hareb, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Administration and Local and Rural Development, on Sunday inspected the summer activities and courses in the northern al-Hasaba neighborhood of al-Thawra district in the Capital Sana'a.
Al-Hareb received a briefing from course organizers on the educational, cultural, skills-based, and sports activities being implemented to enhance students' capabilities and develop their talents.
He observed students showcasing their skills in Holy Quran recitation, public speaking, and other areas. Officials praised the teaching staff's efforts in educating the younger generation.
Al-Hareb emphasized the importance of these courses in nurturing generations and protecting them from "false cultures" and the "soft war" targeting their identity, values, and morals. He urged investing free time in acquiring knowledge, honing talents, and instilling positive values to build a conscious and responsible generation.
In return, al-Thawra district director Aqil al-Saqqaf highlighted the role of summer activities in improving academic, cultural, and religious understanding, developing students' creative abilities, and building a generation grounded in the Holy Quran and their faith-based identity.
