BAGHDAD August 24. 2024 (Saba) - The Iraqi Security Media Cell announced on Saturday the successful destruction of three ISIS hideouts in al-Tuz district, located east of Salah al-Din governorate.
According to the statement, the operation was carried out based on precise intelligence provided by the General Directorate of Intelligence and Security.
The operation was supervised, planned, and monitored by the targeting cell under the Joint Operations Command.
The Iraqi Air Force's "Air Falcons" executed the airstrike using Sezna Caravan aircraft at 6:00 AM on Saturday, targeting the three terrorist hideouts.
The strike resulted in the complete destruction of the hideouts and the elimination of the ISIS members inside.
The statement further mentioned that these hideouts were being used by the terrorists as shelters and launching points for attacks against Iraqi security forces.
