Hague - Saba:
Malaysia affirmed that the restrictions imposed by Israel on UN agencies, particularly UNRWA, are part of a policy aimed at forcibly displacing Palestinians from their lands.
This came during the five-day sessions of the International Court of Justice at the Peace Palace in The Hague, the administrative capital of the Netherlands, to discuss the legal implications of Israeli restrictions on UN agencies. Thirty-nine countries and four international organizations are participating in the sessions.
Malaysian Minister of Law and Institutional Reform, Azizah Othman Said, stressed that statements by Israeli officials regarding the displacement of Palestinians from their lands reveal a premeditated intention to end the Palestinian presence.
