WASHINGTON August 24. 2024 (Saba) - The American proposal for a truce between the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas and the Zionist enemy, with its new details, raised questions about the possibility of its success and saving the Cairo negotiations from failure, and exploiting the last opportunity to reach an agreement between the two parties to the fighting in Gaza Strip.
According to the official Zionist Broadcasting Corporation "Kan" today, "the American proposal will be the basis for the Cairo summit that is being prepared for, noting that the proposal included reducing the number of Israeli forces in the Philadelphi corridor and maintaining a small number of observation points.
The new American proposal includes increasing the number of hostages that will be released in exchange for a significant reduction in the number of Palestinian prisoners that will be released, which Israel will have the right to veto, while Hamas adheres to the American proposal proposed last July.
