Israeli occupation forces continued bulldozing lands in the town of Qusra, south of Nablus on Tuesday as part of a systematic policy aimed at seizing more agricultural land for settlement expansion.
The head of the Qusra village council, Hani Odeh, said in a press statement that an occupation bulldozer continues its work south of the village, amid daily bulldozing that includes the northern, southern, and eastern parts of the town.
Odeh explained that the occupation forces have uprooted dozens of perennial olive trees in recent days, directly targeting the agricultural cover and the main source of income for residents.
He pointed out that residents are no longer able to access their lands, which are classified as Area B, some of which are only a few meters from their homes, due to the closure of agricultural roads and the prevention of their access.
He pointed out that settlers have set up mobile caravans on citizens' lands, in a clear move to impose a fait accompli and preempt the establishment of new settlement outposts.
The town of Qusra is located on an area estimated at nine thousand dunams, distributed between Areas B and C, and is subject to a settlement siege by five settlements; the most prominent of which is the "Migdolim" settlement in the eastern part, while "Yesh Kodesh", "Adi Ad", "Kida", and "Ahiya" occupy the southern lands.
