Al-Quds Governorate condemned the decision by Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir to close the offices of the "Quds Fund and Endowment" in East Quds, considering it a new aggressive step targeting the Palestinian presence.
It emphasized that this decision is part of a systematic policy to undermine Palestinian civil and community work, stressing that the occupation's claims that the Fund operates on behalf of the Palestinian National Authority are baseless.
The Governorate pointed out that the Fund is solely dedicated to humanitarian and charitable work. It also called on the international community to take urgent action to halt the occupation's violations against Quds's institutions and residents.
