Gaza - (Saba):
The Palestinian Ministry of Health's Emergency and Ambulance Unit announced on Tuesday the recovery of four martyrs and the evacuation of more than 30 wounded, as a result of Israeli artillery shelling targeting the tents of displaced people in the Al-Iqlimiya area west of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.
Local Palestinian sources reported that the Israeli enemy army launched a series of airstrikes and artillery shelling on various locations in the Gaza Strip over the past few hours.
The targeting included areas east of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, the Maghazi refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip, and areas north of Rafah.
Gunfire from military vehicles was also reported in areas east of Gaza City, coinciding with demolitions in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood east of the city.
For its part, the Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip announced the depletion of fuel needed to operate firefighting, ambulances, and rescue vehicles in the southern governorates, causing eight out of 12 vehicles to cease operation.
He stressed that response to accidents and emergencies has become extremely limited, with only four vehicles remaining operational.
He warned that this situation could negatively impact the public safety of thousands of Palestinian civilians and displaced persons in shelters, calling on international bodies to take action to allow fuel into the facility and open the crossings for humanitarian aid.
For their part, humanitarian workers in Gaza confirm that the situation on the ground is catastrophic, with food and medical supplies rapidly running out, and most of the Strip's population forced to make do with one meal or less per day.
With full American support, the Israeli enemy has continued its aggression and genocide against the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023, along with the blockade and widespread starvation. This has caused great suffering for the civilian population, especially pregnant women and children, amid a severe deterioration in the humanitarian situation.
