LONDON - SABA: Italian tennis star Jannik Sinner has reinforced his lead at the top of the ATP world rankings following his triumph at the US Open. Sinner secured the title, defeating American Taylor Fritz, and elevated his points total to 11,180.
German Alexander Zverev moved up two spots to claim second place with 7,075 points, while Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz held steady in third with 6,690 points. Serbian Novak Djokovic slipped two positions to fourth, now with 5,560 points, and Russian Daniil Medvedev remained in fifth place with 5,475 points. Andrey Rublev, also from Russia, is in sixth with 4,645 points.
American Taylor Fritz, who was the runner-up at the US Open, climbed five spots to seventh with 4,060 points. Polish player Hubert Hurkacz dropped to eighth, also with 4,060 points, Norwegian Casper Ruud fell to ninth with 4,010 points, and Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov rounded out the top ten, dropping to tenth with 3,965 points.
