SANA'A - Saba: In a precedent that is considered the most dangerous in the series of targeting the Axis of Resistance, the Zionist enemy opened the "Technology War" front using advanced technology to monitor the frequency range of the developed "pager" device and broadcast "electromagnetic" waves that detonated these devices in the hands of their users, leaving hundreds of those close to them killed or injured.

In a precedent that is considered the most dangerous in the series of targeting the Axis of Resistance, the Zionist enemy opened the "Technology War" front using advanced technology to monitor the frequency range of the developed "pager" device and broadcast "electromagnetic" waves that detonated these devices in the hands of their users, leaving hundreds of those close to them killed or injured.

In the details of the operation that took place on Tuesday, the Zionist enemy carried out a complex operation against Lebanon's Hezbollah in the form of targeting the "pager" devices.

The Zionist intelligence was able to detonate wireless communication devices inside the pockets of their users, in a clear message to the enemy saying: "We can reach you wherever you are and whenever we want."

The secret to such a war, according to observers, does not require missiles and ammunition, but rather "advanced technology" that turns phone batteries into time bombs, whether in the form of raising the temperature of the battery remotely, or planting a poisoned charge.

Special sources told Reuters that the Israeli intelligence agency, Mossad, planted explosives inside five thousand wireless communication devices (pagers) imported by Hezbollah months before Tuesday's explosions, noting that planning the attack took several months.

This operation is evidence that the conflicts in the region has resorted to the use of advanced technology as a primary means in military confrontations, after explosive books and toxic toothpaste. In short, technology and cyber-attacks have become the fuel of war in recent years.

It is noteworthy that lithium batteries, despite their efficiency, may turn into a source of anxiety, as these batteries are characterized by light weight and high energy density, which makes them ideal for use in smartphones, mobile devices, and electric cars.

But in some cases, these batteries may overheat due to several factors, such as overcharging, short circuit, or battery damage, all of which can be caused remotely by planting malware in the devices.

With the increasing use of modern technologies in military operations, experts warn of the risks associated with remote detonation technique, as this type of attack can extend to targeting nuclear reactors or other vital facilities, which raises widespread international concern.

According to experts, cyber intrusion has become a concern that haunts super powers. They fear that terrorist organizations could be allowed access to modern technologies that they can exploit to detonate sensitive sites. These technologies enhance the ability of the parties concerned to carry out complex operations quickly and accurately, making traditional deterrence less effective.

These developments indicate a major shift in the nature of conflicts in the Middle East, as the "pager" attack represents a turning point in how conflicts are managed, with technology not just a tool, but now used as an essential part of modern military strategy.

Observers say this operation is not the first, it was preceded by an American operation in Iraq during the American invasion. Here it comes to mind that the Zionist enemy only located the place, while the American supporter is the actual executor, because Washington is against any axis resisting the Zionist entity and against any party targeting the interests of the Zionist entity in the Middle East.

In this context, information technology expert Dr. Muhammad Azzam stated, in an intervention with the "Extra News" channel, that the use of technology to booby-trap personal devices is a dangerous precedent that has not happened before.

The recent incident in southern Lebanon opens the doors to answering several important questions, Azzam said noting that the world has more than five billion smartphones and about 250 billion devices connected to the Internet.

The use of modern technology may destroy the world if the basic rules for its use in conflicts and disputes are not established, in addition to the fact that this type of technology changes the form of armament and the uses of technological and digital devices, and raises fears around it, he added.

He said the international community must unite to eliminate this type of cyber warfare, as cyber warfare serves as silent wars. He noted that the United States of America is discussing the idea of establishing an agency for artificial intelligence similar to the International Atomic Energy Agency, in addition to establishing an agency for the use of information technology.

The Zionist enemy has not exhausted all its military means in its aggression against Lebanon, and continues with the killing machine, while its aggression of blowing up "pager" devices has taken a new form by delivering bloody messages, as it called its security operation "below the belt".

Based on the development of war tools over the years and the technological and digital revolution, advanced technologies have become an essential element in formulating the strategic assessment in the fields of security, war and espionage.

Analysts believe that "it is possible that the Mossad or Zionist intelligence added high-tech devices to the deal of devices containing lithium batteries, they knew that the devices belonged to Hezbollah or to specific people, and planted a small explosive device in them. The characteristics of a pager and the services it provides are not well known to the public."

Anyone who browses and follows social media platforms and Arab and international news websites will find that a pager device is the most talked about device after the major security breach of Tuesday in Lebanon, following the explosion of pager devices that they use consecutively.

The "pager" is a device that was present in the 1980s and 1990s, and few of the "Z" or millennium generation have heard of these devices, due to the emergence of the mobile phone.

It is a too small device that can be placed in the pocket or hung on the waist.

However, after the mass explosions of Hezbollah members' devices, it came back to the forefront of digital platforms and the talk of technology experts.

Starting now, after this Zionist crime, we must all check what we carry in our hands and leave in the hands of our children for entertainment and education, to make sure whether it is a smart mobile phone, or a time bomb that can explode and kill those around it at any moment.

The Zionist enemy has signed a new chapter of criminality and threats to human safety, after the first attack of its kind that targeted thousands of Lebanese civilians, leaving dozens killed and thousands wounded.

We must understand this serious and qualitative threat that humanity is now facing, as mobile communication devices are often fixed to the waist of the body or inside clothing pockets or handbags, and not far from the head during sleep, and may turn into bombs that do not distinguish between a child and an adult, or between a civilian and a soldier.

After this crime, we are now before a new technological boom in the world of killing and terror, signed by the Zionist enemy and its allies, to make nearly 16 billion mobile communication devices currently used by humans - nearly twice the number of humans - in a state of suspicion of turning into a possible killing tool, and may be controlled and detonated remotely.

This Zionist attack reflects the extent of the development in military technology and intelligence methods that enable the use of familiar digital devices as tools to carry out destructive attacks, adding a new dimension to cyber warfare and proving the fragility of the digital infrastructure in the face of this type of attack.

Although no country in the world entirely produces mobile phones or communication devices on its soil - as these industries require the use of components coming from different sources - the Zionist attack on Lebanon will transfer the mobile phone industry to the category of sovereign industries, as is the case with military industries.

Thus, countries around the world will now have to try to control the vital parts in the production chain of these devices, and to subject the imported parts to the highest levels of monitoring so that countries do not suddenly find themselves infiltrated by thousands of booby-trapped devices that can be detonated by remote control.

Technology experts warn of the danger of using mobile phones and smart devices, with the possibility of turning them into time bombs through cyber-attacks, as happened in Lebanon.

They called for the development of local technologies to protect digital security in Islamic countries, because these devices, which have become part of people's daily lives, may be turned into remote detonation tools.
