GAZA - SABA: Hamas spokesperson Jihad Taha has stated that the proposed deal from the Israeli government, led by Benjamin Netanyahu, is merely a maneuver and lacks substance.
He emphasized that the U.S. is biased towards the Israeli occupation and argued that genuine efforts to end the aggression in Gaza would not involve providing weapons to the aggressor.
Taha asserted that any real commitment from the U.S. should involve compelling Israel to halt its actions against the Gaza Strip immediately.
The recent proposal reportedly involves a prisoner exchange, including the release of prisoners from Gaza and establishing a new governance structure there, but Hamas dismisses it as ineffective and insincere.
